We want to downgrade to a smaller more realistic home.
DO you know of successes out there that were using a special technique? Was it by owner? Or with a specific real estate copmany?

Oh my “Dears”, you`ve just got to log on to see sooo many lighted beautifully decorated homes, the yards are breath taking, there over 100 of them, so you`ll need time, and if you`re a little down in the dumps or shut in, you`ll probably perk-up seeing so many pretty creations for the Holidays, I sure hope so. they were displaying 2004- 2005 Holiday decorated homes. go see, go see.
Oops ! it called Planet Christmas, also you will need select to Show off for the year of your choice, 2004 or 2005.
To View SELECT: SHOW OFF and the year of your chioce, 2004 or 2005 and there will be page after page of Beautifully decorated homes.
OH my goodness I brought up a different page that showing off homes starting backin 1998 all the way up to2005, and I gues I`m a bit excited, Showing Off is the selection to make in order tosee them from 1998 up to 2005. sorry about the poor information.

My new home has beautiful woodwork windows and shelfs.
I have a black couch with large light blue to white tulips on it, not the best choice for this but it will have to be used until I can get new.
What color should I paint the walls? The dining room is connected to the living room and I have a matching wooden table set for in there but I would also like to paint those three walls a different color too.
I was thinking maybe white for the living room part?
Oh, the wood is a medium shade oak but has a slight red hue.
Thank you for any help you can give me.
Hard wood floors too.

I can afford it but isn’t buying another a little self indulgent? shouldn’t i be happy where I am and maybe retire earlier? I’m having trouble justifying a bigger mortgage when my current home is above average but not my dream.

We are having a homeowners meeting to present 2 designs for a beautiful brick development sign to replace our old, worn, wooden, paint won’t even fix development sign. I need any responses I can get to show benefits of this to the neighborhood. Will this increase the value of homes at all? Cost will be aprox $115.00 per home and this will be considered their yearly dues. PLEASE respond! thanks so much!

Pro’s and Cons of each:

Beautiful home is in a historic district, within minutes of my new job and is ready to move in. Crime is high- within blocks of the house. My family is very concerned about my choice which may impact how often they visit me (I really like my family). With no work required and just maintain it in good condition I can sell it and move when I finish my college studies in 2 years and if I no decide to change my job again. I would own this by myself with a mortgage (in addition to maintaining my other home).

House in ill repair; it needs to be gutted and completely remodeled (which my family and I have done before in out last home with very good results). Beautiful homes with manicured lawns surrounding it that are worth more than I will ever afford, but this house with its large half acre lot is low because someone must buy it out of pocket. It is about a half hour (during heavy traffic) to my new job. I would need either to gut this house and make many repairs or (the township) wants it demolished and a new home built there but will allow me to place a temporary nice mobile home there to live-in in the mean time- my family feels this is the better thing to do and will go in with me on the cost and ownership and try to sell it within 2 years.

I moved here for a new job and I am in college taking a full semester study load. I will be living in the house alone, but I have family that lives in the area.

Hi, I am a terrible decorator. I have some nice paintings, but other than the paintings and my furniture I don’t have a flare for making my space more pretty. I am in an apartment, so I can’t paint the walls. My walls are cream and my carpet beige. I have a black couch and tan-colored marble topped kitchenette. So its very basic. My paintings are kind of Victorian. Does anyone have any basic inexpensive ideas how to keep my home more beautiful? By the way, I don’t want any plants or flowers, because of allergies and I think they bring bugs. Thanks.
