How do you market a product to home improvement chains? who wants to help me with my xmas list.cuz i need a lot of it?
Mar 26

My dad just got a brand new Mustang GT. I’m racking my brain trying to find something to get him for christmas and I thought getting him something for his new car would be great. Any ideas? I’m not much of a car person so i don’t really know something specific. It would have to be less than like $60 and it has to be an accesory to the car, not like a model of it or anything. His car is the really bright red not the dark maroon they have. I don’t know if that helps but you never know.

Thanks in advance!

How about a coffe table book about the history of the Ford Mustang or a Mustang calendar.

Is it a convertable? If it is I was thinking maybe a cool hat to stop him getting sunburn while he’s driving.

I dunno …. if I had a mustang I dont think I would ever need anything else.

Oh oh hang on I thought of something else…maybe one of those big car cover thingys that you put over it when your not using it to stop sun damage and bird shyt and dust getting on it.

Leather steering wheel cover in tan or black.

Those dice that hang from the rear view mirror. As long they don’t get way in drivers visual.

Those license plates holders that glow in neon.

Those car cleaners that keep the dashboard from cracking.

A California car duster. Its a big red dust buster mop.

hey there you could get him maybe some of those valve caps that light up for his wheels ,,or get him a nice mustang shirt or hat he can wear driving his car…or just talk to your dad about the car asking him little things that he might like for it to give you a few more ideas because no better then the man who drives the car to ask then you can get him something you know hes really going to like or if you want to surprise him maybe just get him a gift certificate he can use to get something he likes .its hard to think of something for a car that already kicks ass hope this gives you some help thinking of something …good luck and have a good christmas and a happy new year too peace i’m out

If he wears baseball style caps- go to a Ford dealer and get a Mustang/GT hat, or a license frame- either plain chrome or just w/ GT on it. Also custom frames– say “DAD`S DREAM’ or whatever you think he would like.

    You are so sweet !

Go to under the owners tab, you’ll find some help…..accessories …merchandise…etc
Your price range limits you a little bit but I’m sure you can shop there & find something suitable for $60

If you go there with Dad…I’m sure he’ll find lots of stuff that he would want.

Make sure Dad registers at “My Ford” @ this site as well..
Ford often sends out freebie stuff to those registered there.

Another good source for ideas is Dads salesperson.
I have been known for aquireing free posters & merchandise from the dealer e-store for my customers.
(I hope his salesperson is as cool as I am about that)

One of my co-workers has a very cool looking Mustang Grille hung above his desk (great wall art). The grill was disgarded by the customer when she had a custom one installed .

Another freebie would be to have an extra door key made for him. A door key wont start his car but it will get him in if he locks himself out…See his salesperson for help on that. …..You could put that key in a nice wallet.

I hope I’ve given you some good ideas! Your Dad is a lucky guy to have such a thoughtful gift-giver in the family!
